June M. Mitchell

June M. Mitchell, age 94, of Wagontown, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.   She was the wife of the late Richard H. Mitchell, who passed away on September 26, 2018.  She was born in Coatesville, daughter of the late Andrew H. Sr. & Ethel Jane Boohar Wilson.  She was a member of Wagontown Chapel. She graduated from  Scott High School class of 1946 and Goldey-Beacon College of Wilmington, DE.   In the past she worked as a secretary for Pepperidge Farm of Downingtown and Lukens Steel Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Wagontown and at their vacation home in Stone Harbor, NJ.  Surviving are 5 children:  Sandra L. Cooper of Coatesville, Gregory D. husband of Renee Morris Cooper of Coatesville, Mark E. husband of Audrey Reeser Cooper of Wagontown, Richard R. husband of Theresa Mignogna Mitchell of Narvon, Deborah K. wife of Hisham Sarhan of Egg Harbor, NJ, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 3 siblings:  Doris Ott, Freda Rhinier and Andrew "Bud" Wilson, Jr.  Funeral service will take place from the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA on Monday, August 15th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Pastor Tim Crans will be officiating.  Interment will be in the Atglen Methodist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wagontown Chapel, P.O.
