Julia S. Eckman

Julia S. (Stapinski) Eckman, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was born on July 4, 1927. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the age of 92. Julia was the wife of the late Charles E. S. Eckman, a.k.a "Mighty Warrior," with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage in 2011. Julia was the daughter of the late Michael (1936) and Mary (1929) Stapinski of Bethlehem, PA.

Julia was a woman with strong moral and religious beliefs and lived her life as God wanted. She was a lifetime member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Quarryville, PA. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing and subsequently retired in 1994 from St. Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster after 36 years of service.

Julia will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Nancy L., wife of Richard F. Rineer, Conestoga; Susan E., wife of David L. Karabaich, Lancaster; Sharon D., wife of Steven W. Byers, Conestoga; Cathy L., wife of Ronald B. Wagner, Conestoga; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in St Catherine's Catholic Cemetery, Quarryville.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.Arrangements entrustedto Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc.
