Jonathan Rodgers

Jonathan Rodgers, age 40 of Narvon, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the foster son of Levi K. Stoltzfus of Narvon and the late Anna Mary Stoltzfus Stoltzfus.  Jon attended Weavertown Amish Mennonite Church. He graduated from IU13 in 2005. He enjoyed attending the Community Care Center.  He loved music, flowers, balloons, going out to eat, and spending time with people.  Surviving are 6 siblings; Alma, wife of Nathan Riehl of Himrod, NY, Mary Ann, wife of Amos Mast of Narvon, Mervin, husband of Pauline Hostettler Stoltzfus of Nappnee, IN, Linda Stoltzfus of Catlett, VA, Sara, wife of the late J.D. Stoltzfus of Leola, Latoya Morton of Coatesville, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother; Nathanael, late husband of Juanita Stoltzfus King, wife of Sam King of Manheim.

Funeral service will take place at Weavertown Amish Mennonite Church, 2900 Church Road, Bird in Hand, on Monday, May 27th at 10 a.m.  A viewing will be held at the church on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
