He was born in Bird-In-Hand, son of the late Benjamin L. and Sadie King King. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving besides his wife are 6 children: Mary L. wife of Jacob F. Glick of New Holland, David L. husband of Fannie K. Stoltzfus King of Quarryville, Benuel L. husband of Susie G. Stoltzfus King of Quarryville, Sadie L. wife of Amos S. Stoltzfus of Ephrata, Naomi L. wife of Henry E. Stoltzfus of Leola, and Jonas L. husband of Anna L. Lapp King of Quarryville, 47 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 siblings: Elam K. King of Ronks, husband of the late Emma Lapp King and Rachel Zook King, Lydia Lapp of Strasburg, wife of the late Daniel Lapp. He was preceded in death by 9 siblings: Abram King late husband of Mary Zook King of Lancaster, Amos King late husband of Rachel King King of Bird-In-Hand, David King late husband of Annie Lapp King of Lititz, Christian King, Daniel King, Benuel King, Jacob King, Malinda King, and Mary Stoltzfus.

Funeral Service will take place from the late home, 422 Spring Valley Road, Quarryville, on Thursday, July 23rd at 11 a.m. EST. Interment will be in Fairmount Amish Cemetery. Friends may call the late home from time of this notice until time of service.
