John Urbano

John Urbano, 83, of Quarryville, PA died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident in Colerain Township. He was the husband of the late Mary Selvaggi Urbano who died November 10, 2013.
Born in Philadelphia on September 6, 1930, he was the son of the late Anthony and Maria Salvo Urbano.
John retired from United Engineers where he was employed as a mechanical designer.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Quarryville, PA.
John enjoyed reading, and the countryside of Lancaster County.Upon moving to the area, he built his own house.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Rickie wife of Michael Stefano of Folsom, PA, Maria Urbano wife of Thomas Manser of Norfolk, VA; 5 grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Philip, (Nicole), Paul, Kelly, Elizabeth; 2 great grandchildren, Johnny and Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:30AM with Rev. Robert Yohe as celebrant.A visitation will be held at the church from9:30AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Urbano's memory to Lancaster County Conservancy, P.O. Box 716, Lancaster, PA 17608-716.
