John R. Heffner
John R. Heffner Sr. (Sunny) born December 25, 1934 in Cressona PA, after a long suffering illness, passed peacefully with his family by his side on July 14, 2017.
He moved to Perryville, MD in 1953 with his parents, the late Samuel & Mary Heffner.
He retired from the oil burner business.He was a loyal fan of the O's and loved tinkering with old clocks which he collected.
John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sylvia Heffner, His daughter Sheri Marley (Robert), Granddaughters Heidi Padilla (Josh), Stacey Burch (Jeff) and a grandson, Steven Dennis (Katie), Greatgrandchildren Nathaniel Padilla, Elizabeth & Lily Dennis.
He is preceded in death by his son John R. Heffner Jr, brothers William & Gary Heffner, sisters Mary Parsons, Betty Oplinger and Nancy Heffner.
Arrangements provided by Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Quarryville, PA.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
