John F. Beiler, known as (Butta John) of 52 Hatville Road, Gordonville, PA, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at home. He was the husband of Leah K. Lapp. Born in Kinzers, he was the son of the late Abram L. and Barbara Fisher Beiler. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving besides his wife are 5 children: Aaron Jay, husband of Lydianne Smucker Beiler of Gap, Sadie Mae, wife of John S. Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Samuel L, husband of Fern Smucker Beiler of New Holland, John F. Jr., husband of Edna Mae King Beiler of East Earl, Raymond L., husband of Jolene Esh Beiler of Gordonville, 35 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mervin Beiler, late husband of Verna S. Riehl of Narvon, grandson, Leroy J. Stoltzfus, 15 siblings: Rachel, Elam, Jacob, Lizzie Stoltzfus, Christ, late husband of Sarah Beiler of Kinzers, Mary Zook, Amos, Ben, Jonas, late husband of Lizzie King Beiler of Kinzers, Malinda Petersheim, Henry, late husband of Anna Kauffman of Jersey Shore, Barbara Flaud, Sarah, Annie Stoltzfus, and Abram.

A funeral service will take place from the home of Aaron and Linda Esh, 57 Hatville Road, Gordonville, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1 pm EST. Interment will be in the Gordonville Amish Cemetery.shiveryfuneralhome.com
