Joan A. Doyle

Joan A. Doyle, age 78, of West Chester, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Hickory House of Honey Brook, PA.  She was the wife of the late William Joseph Doyle who passed away on September 9, 1982.  She was born in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Salvatore "Red" & Nancy Ryan Affinito.  Joan always had a heart for the Lord, attending churches of various faiths.  She made a note of her salvation in 2016.   She received an Associates Degree from Rockland Community College.  She did door to door cable sales in New York/New Jersey and then worked as an Administrative Assistant for the East Ramapo Central School District.  Joan enjoyed cars, movies, reading, shopping, traveling, the beach and most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Surviving are 3 children:  William J., II husband of Beth Crowley Doyle of Downingtown, Mary Ellen wife of Scott Rowen of Washington Boro, John Salvatore Doyle of Lodi, NJ, 7 grandchildren, 3 sisters:  Ellen wife of Frank McNamara of The Villages, FL, Margaret Gruson of New York, NY, Kathy wife of James Chadwick of The Villages, FL.

Funeral service will take place at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA, on Monday, October 18th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service.
