Jerry G. Wallace Sr., age 83 of Quarryville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at home with his loving wife of 29 years by his side. He was the husband of Dorothy M. Dressler Wallace. He was born in Millington, MD, son of the late Franklin W. & Mildred A. Atwell Wallace. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Alabama, and the Orioles. He loved his family and his dogs. Jerry was in the Lancaster Softball Hall of Fame and the Solanco Hall of Fame for baseball, basketball, and football. Surviving besides his wife, are 4 children: James E. husband of Cathy Wallace of Chesapeake VA, David D. Wallace of Riverside, PA, Jerry Jr. husband of Karyn Wallace of Stroudsburg, PA, Valerie L. Wallace of Shepherdstown, WV, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Susan wife of Robert Hayes of New Providence. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Long, and a brother Ronald Wallace.

A memorial service will take place from Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Monday, September 9th at 11 am with a time to greet the family from 10 am until time of service.
