Jeff Peterson, Jr., age 81, of Christiana, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was the husband of Sharon Aurand Peterson, with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage on November 8th. He was born in North Carolina, son of the late Jeff Peterson, Sr. & Betty Enson Peterson MacDonald. Jeff started working in 1960 for Millprint of Downingtown, PA, then becoming Reynolds and then Alcoa retiring in 2009. After retiring he provided transportation to the Amish community. He served for many years on the Christiana Borough Council, and was also a member of Freedom Life of Christiana, and the Christiana Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics, hunting, fishing and trips to Florida with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife are 6 children: Barry Jr. husband of Michelle Jones Aberts of Roanoke, VA, Kimberly wife of Chris Copelman, Exton, Jeff Peterson, Arizona, Paris Ann wife of Daryl Smoker, Atglen, Renee Aberts, Thorndale, Christopher Michael husband of Erica Risser Peterson, Narvon, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 siblings: Kenneth husband of Serena Peterson, West Virginia, Patricia wife of James Searls, North Carolina. Also surviving is his beloved dog Raven. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Peterson.

A celebration of Jeff's life will take place at Freedom Life, 447 Noble Road, Christiana, PA, on Thursday, March 9th at 4 p.m. with a time to greet the family from 3 p.m. until time of service. Pastor Sam Masteller will be officiating.
