Jean O'Deens

Barbara Jean O'Deens, born December 29, 1940, age 81 of Gap, PA, passed away at the Mt. Joy Hospice Center on Monday, January 24, 2022.  She was the wife of Daniel Joseph O'Deens with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage.  She was born in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late George and Ruth (Stern) McFadden.  She attended Gateway Church.  Jean enjoyed her family, spending hours each day praying for mission around the world, cooking, cake making/decorating, teddy bears, tea pots, praying for and encouraging people they served and life coaching and counseling. Her 2 absolute loves, her amazing servant/husband Daniel J. O'Deens and the written Word of God…the Bible.

Surviving besides her husband are 3 children:  Erin wife of Jeff Hoenshell of Gordonville, Daniel husband of Gay (Weichman) O'Deens of Coatesville, Kelly wife of Jonathan Damon of Gap.  Dan and Jean have 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.   Jean has 2 brothers:  George (deceased) husband of Donna McFadden, John husband of Carol McFadden.
