Jean Louise Moss

Jean Louise Moss, age 100, formerly of Holtwood, passed away at Conestoga View on Saturday, January 25, 2025.  Born in Drumore, she was the daughter of the late James Keller and Suie Seiple Moss.

She was a lifetime member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir since she was the age of 15 and taught Sunday school for 46 years.  She enjoyed reading and puzzles.

Jean had been employed as a secretary for Farm Bureau and then for Agway for 37 years.

She is survived by a nephew John A. (Deborah) Hambleton; grand-nephews, Jeffrey (Casey) Hambleton, William Hambleton; and a grand-niece Angel Waltman.

She was preceded by her sister Clare Hambleton; fiancée William Ambler and grand nephew Warren R. Hambleton.

Funeral Services will be held from Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, 1068 Chestnut Level Road, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11:00AM with Rev. John Hartman officiating.   A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  Kindly omit flowers.  Contributions may be made in Jean's memory to Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church.
