Janet E. Hart

Janet E. Hart, age 73 of New Providence, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Hart. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Edgar & Theresa Rittenhouse Frank. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband is a daughter, Tammy Wimer of New Providence, 2 granddaughters: Ashley Caldwell of New Providence and Courtney wife of Dean Evanoff of Mt. Joy, 4 great grandchildren: Brayden, Alexander, Colton, and Landon, nieces, nephews and a brother, John Frank of New Providence. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Rhoades, mother and father.

Funeral service will take place from Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville PA, on Friday, March 22nd at 11 a.m with a viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be Union Cemetery.
