Janet M. Brown

Janet M. Brown, 79, formerly of Leola, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, Narvon, PA.She was the widow of Earl Jay Brown, Sr. who died July 22, 1997.Born in Colerain Township, she was the daughter of the late Hayes A. and Marion Rineer Hastings.
She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Robert Fulton Chapter.
Surviving her are 3 children, Jodi (John) Seifert of Ephrata, Earl Jay (Penne) Brown, Jr. of Leola, Dwayne (Laurie) Brown of Manheim; 5 grandchildren;3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, JamesHastings of Kirkwood, Jay (Barbara) Hastings of Quarryville; and a sister Jeanne Stone of Quarryville.She was preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Hayes Hastings.
Graveside services will be held at New Providence Mennonite Cemetery, 121 Main Street, New Providence, PA on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00AM.
