Jane G. Hassler

Jane G. Hassler, 93, formerly of Stanton Road, Quarryville, died Friday, September 16, 2016 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She and her husband, Thurston A. "Wink" Hassler were married on January 26, 1944.Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Howard W. and Mary G. Graeff Groff.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul's Church, Quarryville.Jane enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing, and cooking.
Surviving her beside her husband are five children, Thurston A. "Winkie" (Kay) Hassler, Jr. of Brazil, Beejee (Kenneth) Herr of Strasburg, Marianne (Dennis) Harnish of Quarryville, James C. (Linda) Hassler of Holtwood, Timothy C. (Sherie) Hassler of Quarryville; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Church, 1 West Fourth Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Thurston A.
