Jane Ferguson

Jane Elizabeth Sprout Ferguson of Quarryville, PA, formerly of Kirkwood, age 94, passed away at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Friday, August 9, 2024.  Born in Holtwood, Jane was the daughter of the late Fred and Josephine Keefer Sprout.  She was a member and former Deacon of Union Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school for 40 years.  Jane was a homemaker and worked as a tour guide for many years at the Amish Farm and House, Lancaster, PA.  She was a member of Farm Woman #20.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Thomas W. Ferguson and daughter, Kathleen Jean Ferguson.  Jane is survived by her son, Dr. T. Joseph, husband of Laurie of Escondido, CA, four grandsons: Sam Alwang (Lauren), Scout, Skyler and Zane Ferguson.

Funeral Services will take place from Union Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.  Pastor Jeremy Peterson will be officiating.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's memory may be made to Union Presbyterian Church, 5637 Street Road, Kirkwood, PA 17536.
