James R. Wood, Sr.

James R. Wood, Sr., 92, of Mount Joy, passed away at his residence on Monday, August 30, 2021.

He was the husband of the late Josephine Nicholson Wood.  Born in Atglen, he was the son of the late William and Pearl Atkins Wood.

James retired from Fabricated Metals Products as a steelworker.

Surviving him are 4 children, Diana Sheaffer, Roxanne Thomas, Callie J. Powell, James R wood, Jr.; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Freda Lorraine Parsons.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
