James D. Stoltzfus

James D. Stoltzfus, Sr. age 64 of Parkesburg, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Brandywine Hospital.  He was the husband of Cindy Lewis Stoltzfus with whom he was happily married to since 1983.  Born in Cochranville, he was the son of the late John and Susie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus.  Jim was a member of Gap Community Church and was a committed follower of Christ.  He graduated from Octorara Area High School. Jim was a farm equipment mechanic and a part owner of Stoltzfus Farm Service. In his free time, he loved tinkering on equipment and completing his honey-do list.  Surviving besides his wife are 2 children: Dr. James D. Jr. fiancee of Joelle Martin of Buffalo, NY and Jennifer wife of Nathaniel Brosenitsch of Cabot, PA, 3 grandchildren (Caleb (6), Riser (2), and Haven (3 mo.)), and 3 brothers: Marvin husband of Susan Stoltzfus, Wayne husband of Jen Stoltzfus, and Erwin husband of Robin Stoltzfus, all of Cochranville.  Graveside services will be held in the Millwood Mennonite Cemetery on Thursday, November 12th at 11:00 am.  You may wish to bring your own chairs for the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's honor to the Jericho Road Community Health Center on their website at jrchc.org .
