James L. Sampson

James L. Sampson, age 62 of Bird In Hand, PA, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was the husband of Deborah "Debbie" Dyer Sampson, with whom he celebrated 19 years of marriage with on May 25th. He was born in West Grove, son of the late Donald A. & Mary E. Greer Sampson Morrison. He worked providing transportation for C & J Fencing and he was a painter by trade for many years. He was a member of the 1975 graduating class of Oxford High School. He was a musician enjoying singing, songwriter and playing with multiple bands including Hazy Nation, Quick Straw, Fat Bastard, Daryl & James duo, Tammany Hall and the Mad Man. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter Jamie Sampson of Oxford, grandson Yousef Gul and 2 siblings: Carl Traina of Maryland and Lori wife of David Kelley of Oxford. He was preceded in death by a brother Don Sampson husband of Debbie Sampson of Oxford. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
