James E. Boyer

James "Jim"  E. Boyer, age 71, born on July 14th, 1950 in Manhattan, NY son of the late Charles & Nellie Hazen Boyer. Jim lived in Lancaster, PA, formerly of Christiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.  He was the husband of Regina "Reggie" Trimarco Boyer, with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage with on July 15th. He worked for Quebecor Printing for 30 years retiring in 2012.  He graduated from West Lake High School, Hawthorne, NY.  Jim was a big New York Giants fan. Surviving besides his wife are 3 daughters:  Traci wife of Michael Jobe of Atglen, Lori wife of Patrick Humes of RidleyPark, Jeri wife of Jessica Unangst Boyer of Ephrata, and his beloved chihuahua Tiny, 5 grandchildren: Cheyenne & Christopher Jobe, Darren Howe, Charles & McKenzie  Humes, 4 siblings:  Robert husband of Dona Boyer of Mechanicville, NY, John Boyer of Hawthorne, NY, Kaye Vassilos, wife of late husband Louis, of New Holland, Linda wife of Marc Blickenstaff of Cornelius, NC.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Alexis Elizabeth Howe and in-laws Jerry and Connie Trimarco.

Funeral service will take place from the Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, on Tuesday, November 9th, at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will take place at the Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Ann Barshinger Cancer Institute 2102 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA. 17601 or the Hospice and community care of Lancaster, PA,. Family requests casual dress and to wear the New York Giants colors, red, white, and blue.
