James I. Bilski, Jr., 75, of Oxford, PA, formerly of Ocala, FL and Hollidaysburg, PA passed on January 8, 2015.Loved and cherished for over 30 years by his wife Theresa (Konopski) Bilski, who passed him in death in 2013.James will be loved and missed by his children, James R. of Oxford, PA, Joan (Bilski) Williams of Rock Island, TN; a stepson Brian Konopski of Natrona Heights, PA; his grandchildren, Michael Bilski, Adam, Hannah, and Abigail Konopski; his sisters Theresa, Victoria, and Bernadette.
James was preceded in death by his parents James I. Bilski, Sr. and Mary (Kupeski) Bilski, and his sister Eleanor.
James was born, raised and worked on the family farm in Phoenixville, PA on August 31, 1939.He graduated from North Coventry High School in 1956 and Pennsylvania State University in 1962 with a degree in Agricultural Sciences, and spent his working life in the farming industry.James was a hard-working, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and an avid fisherman, which was his second love after his family. He was an active member of Bass Masters and Raystown Striper Club.
A service will be held for the family and friends on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:00PM at Mt. Airy Mausoleum, 2800 Old Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA.
