Irene E. Tangert

Irene E. Tangert, 81, formerly of Gordonville, died on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Lancashire Hall, Lancaster, PA where she resided for the past 5 years.She was born in Quarryville, a daughter of the late Lester and Mary Irving Rhoads.
Irene had been employed as a cook for both Howard Johnson's and McDonalds.
She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and crocheting.
Surviving her are two children, Nancy L. Patterson of Lancaster and John Tangert of Manheim; 7 grandchildren, Daniel Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Ben Tangert, Chris Tangert, Travis Tangert, Pamela Tangert, and Samantha Tangert.
She was preceded in death by a son Robert Tangert.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
