Ida J. Metzler

Ida J. Metzler, 67, of Sawmill Road, New Providence, PA died Friday, August 12, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. She and her husband Donald L. Metzler were married for 50 years.Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late Fred L. and Elsie B. Eberlee Sheets.
A homemaker, Ida enjoyed going to public auctions, needlecraft especially hooking, her flower gardening with its butterflies, and all animals large and small.
Surviving beside her husband Donald are two daughters, Tracey L. Metzler of Quarryville and Sarah E. Metzler and her companion Stephen Soltez of Marion Center, PA.
Services are private.
