Howard E. Anderson

Howard E. Anderson, age 84, of Peach Bottom, passed away at the UPMC of Lititz on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Keefer Anderson, who passed away on March 31, 2019. He was born in Conowingo, MD, son of the late John Howard & Artie Florence Johnson Anderson. He was a truck driver for most of his working career, retiring from Packaging Corporation of America. He was a veteran of the Navy. He enjoyed fishing, camping, telling truck and Navy stories, and most of all he loved children especially his grandchildren. He is survived by a son Allen husband of Toni O'Shaughnessy Anderson of Holtwood, granddaughter Amanda wife of Jason Perron, 2 great granddaughters: Aiva & Amia Perron and a sister Ruth "Peanut" Hughes of Willow Street. He was preceded in death by a son Bobby Anderson, 2 siblings: Betty Keefer and Ray Allen "Stump" Anderson.

A private funeral service will take place at the Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, Quarryville, PA, with Pastor Tom Milligan officiating. Interment will be in the Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery.
