Herbert E. Creter

Herbert E. "Herb" Creter, Jr, 81, of Longfellow Drive, Lancaster, PA died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Lancashire Hall following a lengthy illness. Herb was married to Yvonne Kreider Creter. Born in York County, he was the son of the late Herbert E. and Odella Harris Creter, Sr.
A truck driver, Herb retired from Henry Kreider after 33 years of service.
He was a member of Conestoga Valley Church of Christ, Lancaster, PA. A family man, he thoroughly loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving him beside his wife Yvonne are 6 children, Herbie (Nancy) Creter, Gary Creter, Kelly (Jill) Creter, Mark Creter, Tammy (Don) McKay, Stacey (Jim) Mangefrida; 2 step children, Kelly Fieni, Kenda (Donny) Ferrell; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 7 step grandchildren; 3 sisters, Irene (Dick) Eager, Miriam (Bob) Sizemore, Romaine Geib.
Herb was preceded in death by a step daughter Karen Martz and a brother Hiram Creter.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 2:00PM with Rev. Jeff Werkheiser officiating.
