Helen Anna Winters, 81, formerly of Leeds Court Lancaster, PA died Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Anne's Retirement Community where she resided for the past 5 years.
She was the widow of Paul L. Winters. Born in Colerain Township she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth RintzSollenberger. Helen was raised by Jean Ressell and the late Glen Ressell who became her foster parents.
Helen had previously worked for the former RCA Company in the television department.
She was a member of Lampeter United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Willow Street Senior Citizens.
Helen was an avid bowler, and enjoyed reading and exercising at the YWCA, and traveling.
Surviving beside her foster mother Jean is her daughter Kathy Jean Winters of Lancaster, PA.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 144 East Street, Quarryville, PA on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00PM with Chaplain Daniel Derk officiating. Interment will follow in Colerain Baptist Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1:00PM until the time of service.
