Helen L. Nebel

Helen Louise Nebel, Quarryville, PA, born in Medina, New York on May 29, 1938, joined her Lord on January 22, 2020 after a short illness.She was a member of True Gospel Baptist church in Quarryville, PA.
She was predeceased by her husband Oswald "Art" Nebel in 2014.Helen is survived by her children: Mary Hughes of Quarryville, PA, Elizabeth Carpenter of Lyndonville, NY, Teresa Bryan of Lynchburg, VA, and Marco Rey of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Helen and Art ministered to several unwed mothers during their pregnancies and fostered several infants prior to their adoption.She also had a well-established cake business in both NY and VA.
