Helen Roberts Luttermoser

Helen Roberts Luttermoser, 95, formerly of Quaker Hills Road, Lancaster, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Virginia Beach, VA where she resided for the past 13 years. She was the widow of David D. Luttermoser who died June 16. 2004. She was born in Richmond, VA,daughter of Ernest Linwood and Ruby N. Lee Roberts.
Helen was a graduate of Glen Allen High School and The Pan American School, Richmond, VA. She and David were married in Ashland, VA on December 24, 1944.Upon David's discharge from the Army in 1946 they moved to Detroit, MI and subsequently to Lancaster in 1961.
She had been employed as a secretary for Millersville University.
She had been a member of the former First United Methodist Church, Millersville, the Centerville AARP, and the Couple Club Dance Club.She enjoyed dancing, traveling, and reading.
Surviving her are two children, Carolyn wife of Thomas Pauls of Virginia Beach, VA, David R. husband of Connie Z. Luttermoser of Lititz, PA; 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson; four great granddaughters, and two great sons.
Graveside services are set for Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00AM at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, 435 Manor Avenue, Millersville, PA. Contributions may be made in Helen's memory to the Lancaster Humane League, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Quarryville, PA.
