Helen M Crouse

Helen M. Crouse, 83 of Wynnewood Drive, Lancaster, PA died unexpectedly of natural causes at her residence on Monday, June 16, 2014. She was the widow of Melvin L. Crouse who died March 5, 2012.Helen was born in Smithville, a daughter of the late Walter and Amy Louise Rudy Hoffman.
A homemaker, she was a former girl scout leader and enjoyed refinishing furniture, antiquing, reading, and her perennial gardens. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was a member of Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church.
Surviving her are two daughters, Helen Martinez and her companion Daryl Pack of Lancaster, Dawn wife of Ralph Herman of Quarryville; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two siblings, Louise Schaeffer and Walter Hoffman, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00AM with Rev. Thomas P. Milligan officiating.Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Crouse's memory to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
