Harvey R. England, Sr., 71, of Quarryville, PA passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA after a brief illness.
He was born in Hopewell, PA, a son of the late Roger and Frances Herr England.
Harvey was employed by Eschbach Bus Service for 16 years as a mechanic and bus driver.Harvey enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycle riding, playing cards, NASCAR driver # 48 Jimmy Johnson, and John Deere tractors.
He is survived by a son Harvey R. (Diana) England Jr. of Peach Bottom, PA; a daughter Theresa England companion of Paul Hopkins of Pedrickton, NJ;2 grandchildren, Brandon Dooley of Paradise, Tiffany Marie Kalinowski of Salem, NJ; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ernest (Naomi) England of Oxford, PA, Roger(Marge) England, Jr. of Nottingham, PA; 3 sisters Joyce Sprout of Quarryville, Margaret Ann (Nelson) Quillen of Lancaster, Barbara (Michael) Claflin of Pottstown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alfred R. England and Earl England.
A memorial services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 8:00PM. A visitation will be held from 7:00PM until the time of service. Interment will be private in Union Cemetery.
