Harry I. Strubel, age 94, of Paradise, passed away at the Lancaster General Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2026.  He was the husband of the late Jean Y. Sweigart Strubel, who passed away on October 26, 2019.  He was born in Strasburg, son of the late C. Irvin & Mary Jane Mowery Strubel.  He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church of Paradise.  He graduated from the former Paradise High School class of 1950.  In the past he worked for Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, Yuninger's Garage of Strasburg, RCA/Burle Industries of Lancaster retiring in 1993.  Harry enjoyed camping, going to Florida for the winters, cars, boating, fishing and all sports.  Surviving are 3 children: Michael W. Strubel of Paradise, Kathy Jo wife of Frank Greenawalt of Lancaster, Gary Lee husband of Sandy Kilby Strubel of Ronks, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Margaret wife of John Stremming of Florida, Dorothy Book of Lititz.  He was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Mary Jane Althouse, Nancy Gross and George Strubel.

Funeral service will take place from the Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Saturday, April 25th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Pastor Clint Shondelmyer officiating.  Interment will be in the St. John's Methodist Cemetery.
