Harold K. Showalter

Harold K. Showalter, 88, of Mill Street, Columbia, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care, Mt. Joy.
Born in Broadway, VA, he was the son of the late Luke & Lydia Kauffman Showalter.
Harold had been employed as a welder and steel fabricator for Herr & Sacco.
He enjoyed playing cards and woodworking.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl M. (Glenn) Ritter of New Holland, Sandra J. (Ronald) Spence of New Providence; 2 grandsons, Jared D. (Alison) Spence and Jason M. Spence; a great granddaughter Rosyln L. Spence; and a sister Alta Rohrer of Fairmount.
He was preceded in death by a son Darrell Lee Showalter; a brother Kenneth Showalter; and a sister Barbara Creider.
A viewing will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 9:00-10:00AM.Interment will follow in New Providence Church of God Cemetery.
