Gregory W. Hogg

Gregory W. Hogg, age 71 of Gordonville, PA, passed away at the home of his sister on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was born in March 1952, son of the late Leon W. & Arlene Sheaffer Hogg. He worked as an equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He graduated from Octorara High School class of 1970, and then attended Lebanon Valley College. He enjoyed blues music and had served on the board of the Central PA Blues Society. He enjoyed watching the eagles nesting at the Conowingo Dam. He fulfilled his dream of owning a muscle car, restoring a 1967 Camaro. Surviving are 3 siblings: Jeffery S. husband of Cynthia Ream Hogg of Gap, Mitchell A. husband of Nancy J. Holton Hogg of Gordonville, Patricia L. wife of Russell P. Bricker of Harrisburg, 7 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place from the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA, on Wednesday, February 14th at 11 a.m., with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Penningtonville Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gordonville Fire & EMS or to Hands Up Partners through the Lancaster County Food Hub website.
