Gloria Rineer

Gloria Rineer, age 87, of Willow Street passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at home. She was the wife of the late Ray R. Rineer for 58 years until his passing on March 22, 2016. Born in Red Lion, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Elizabeth Sexton Stonesifer. She was a member of Smithville Church of God since 1956. Gloria loved her family, especially her grand children. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed canning. One of the highlights of her life was when Ray and her took a summer long trip around the entire United States.

Surviving are 2 sons: Gary, husband of Lori Rineer of Pequea, Stephen, husband of Donna Rineer of Marticville, 4 grandchildren: Daryl, Douglas, Kristi and Austin, 2 great-grandchildren: Ella and Isaac, 2 sisters: Virginia Rineer and Sharon Landis, both of Quarryville.

A funeral service will take place from Smithville Church of God, 595 Pennsy Rd. New Providence, PA 17560 on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 10 a.m. with a time to greet the family from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Bo Frey will be officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
