Glenn L. Hinkley

Glenn L. Hinkley, Jr. age 81 of Christiana, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his home.  He was the husband of the late Florence Edna Hinkley who passed away on March 29, 2009.  Born in Bristol, PA, he was son of the late Glenn L. Sr. and Dorothy Burkey Hinkley.  He worked as a parts delivery driver for Snavely and Dosch.  In his he free time, Glenn loved fishing, cooking, grilling and spending time with his grandchildren.  Surviving is his companion of 10 years; Joyce L. Hart Klunk of Honey Brook, his son: Donald L., husband of Barbara Trout Hinkley of New Providence, 3 grandchildren, Lonna Trout, Donald Hinkley, Jr. and Austin Hinkley, 4 great-grandchildren, and a brother; George, husband of Gladys Stanley Hinkley of Quarryville.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hinkley.

There will be a social greeting time held at Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Tuesday, December 5th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Interment will be held at the Georgetown United Methodist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Glenn's honor to the American Heart Association, heart.org.
