Geraldine Sturgill

Geraldine Sturgill, age 73 of Cochranville, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Jennersville Hospital.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Perella DiObilda.  She graduated from Coatesville High School. She worked in the Chester County Courthouse until retirement.  In her free time, Geraldine loved doing floral crafts, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Surviving is a daughter, Angela Lynn Smith of Port Deposit, MD, 6 grandchildren: Tina, Bud, Anthony, Aaron, Ashley and Dylon , 2 great grandchildren, and 3 siblings: Rose Woodward of Downingtown, Dolly Thomas of Quarryville, and Joseph husband of Paula DiObilda of Coatesville.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Joe Sturgill and a sister, Jean "Mitzy" Newlin.  Services will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA 17566, to assist the family with funeral expenses
