Gerald D. "Jb" Blank

Gerald D. "JB" Blank, age 69 of Ronks, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Victor E. Blank, Sr. and Margaret L. "Peg" Reeder Fisher.  He graduated from Pequea Valley High School, Class of 1972.  He worked as a chef for various different restaurants until he was no longer able.  In his free time JB loved playing chess, doing puzzles, listening to music, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.  Surviving are 3 siblings; Victor E. Blank, Jr. of Ronks, Charles G. "Chuck" Blank of Paradise, and Cathie L., wife of Clifford Doratt of Kinzers.

A memorial service will take place at Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, on Tuesday, November 28th at 6 p.m. with a time to greet the family from 5 p.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in JB's honor to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
