George M. Wettig

George M. Wettig, 70, of Willow Street PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2015.He was the husband of Linda Rice Long Wettig.
Born in Atglen, PA, a son of the late George and Esther Stanley Wettig.
He was a member of Clearfield Methodist Church, New Providence, PA.
George retired from Lampeter-Strasburg School District.He enjoyed reading the Bible, the Eagles, riding his Harley, and golf.George was golf champion at Tanglewood Golf Club in 1972.
Surviving besides his wife, are children; Chad Wettig (Jess Heidig), Sherry Long (William Osborne), Denise Long (Allen Osborne), Kenneth Long, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchild, sister; Doris Bair, Glenmore, PA.He was predeceased by 2 sisters; Nancy Ladly, and Georgeann Hornburger.
Funeral Service will be at Clearfield United Methodist Church, 1238 Rawlinsville Road, New Providence, PA on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM.Viewing one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 AM.Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
