Gary H. Kauffman

Gary H. Kauffman, age 71 of East Fallowfield, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital.  He was the husband of Maryann Rovka Kauffman with whom he would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on November 24th.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Mary E. "Maribeth" Edwards Kauffman.  He graduated from Coatesville Area High School in 1969 and West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in 1973.  He worked as the Fiscal Administrative Officer for the Justice of the Peace Court in Delaware.  In his free time, Gary loved working with his hands on cars and in the yard, and he loved playing with his grandchildren: Ariella and Jaxon Kauffman.  Surviving besides his wife is a daughter: Karen Ann Kauffman of East Fallowfield, 2 grandchildren, and 2 siblings: Brenda, wife of Ernest Post of Valrico, FL, and Keith, husband of Tammy Burns Kauffman of Greeneville, TN.  He was preceded in death by a sister: Jane Kauffman.

A funeral service will take place at Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, on Tuesday, October 25th at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Interment will be in the Glen Run Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gary's honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
