Gary L. Groff, age 74 of Willow Street, PA, passed away at the Penn Medicine Hospital of Lancaster on Monday, November 17, 2025.  He was born on January 23, 1951, son of the late George Ellis & Virginia M. Brown Groff.  He was married to Beth Book Groff, celebrating 49 years of marriage on August 28, 2025.

After graduating from Pequea Valley High School class of 1969, Gary worked for Denlinger Inc.  Gary then went into business as a self-employed trim work specialist.  He worked on homes in Weatherburn, Olde Field, Mondamin Farms & Waterford.  Gary loved working on stairways, the more complicated the better and was a master carpenter.  Gary also worked for Paradise Township.

Gary was a member of the Christiana Lodge #417 F&AM, Slumbering Groundhog Lodge class of 2002, and was an original member of the Paradise Turtle Club.

Surviving besides his wife are 4 siblings:  George Groff, Jr. (Linda) of Carlisle, Bonnie Wanner of Gap, Gerry Groff of Lancaster, Dennis Groff (Sondra) of Paradise, brother-in-law Mike Book (Debbie) of Lancaster and several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Gary's life will take place at Chantry Place, 15 North Bridge Street, Christiana, PA, on Sunday, December 14th at 3 p.m., with a social hour from 2 p.m. until time of service.  Please wear casual clothing.  Thank you to all the staff of the 6 East at Penn Medicine for your wonderful care of Gary.   In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
