Garry Gene Stauffer, 63, of Quarryville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Nancy Sinclair Stauffer.They had celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Garry had been employed for 17 years at Abel Tire, Quarryville, and for 18 years at Lancaster Truck Body. Prior to his illness he had been employed at Resource Rentals and Sales, New Providence.
Garry enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and watching cowboy and western movies..He especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Hewas born in Lancaster, son of the late Leroy and Hazel Dearolf Stauffer.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, 2 children: Jason D. Stauffer, husband of Jodi of Pequea, PA, Vanessa A., wife of RaymondAuger, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada,2 grandchildren:Nolan S. and Kaitlyn Stauffer , 2 brothers, Terry and wife Nancy Stauffer of Cochranville,Robert and wife Mary Ann Stauffer of Quarryville, PA, 2 sisters: Linda Linkens of Lititz, PA, and Patsy and husband Ronald Mowrer of Paradise, PA.
A Private family funeral service will be held at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA.
