Fred W. Wurster, Jr., age 79 of Gap, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  He was the husband of Joyce A. Lembert Wurster, with whom he would have celebrated 51 years of marriage on March 31st.  He was born in Queens, NY, son of the late Fred W. & Felice Kessler Wurster.  He attended Faith Community Baptist Church, Downingtown, PA, where he was very active. He enjoyed working with his hands, serving at his church, traveling to the Outer Banks, and collecting seashells and lighthouses.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family.  Surviving besides his wife are 2 children: Fred W. III, husband of Rosemary Wolfgang Wurster of Middletown, DE, Suzanne A. Wurster at home, 2 grandchildren: Madelyn & Ian Wurster, and a sister Elizabeth, wife of Raymond Phillips of Allentown.  He was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Husmann.

A memorial service will take place at Faith Community Baptist Church, 1585 Glenside Road, Downingtown, PA, on Saturday, March. 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., with a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Pastor Roland Venable will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Fred Wurster to Faith Community Baptist Church at the address above.
