Frances F. Griest, 87, of Elverson, PA, residing at Denver Health and Rehabilitation, Denver, PA, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016.She was the widow of the late James E. Griest, Sr.
Born in Reading PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Katurah Strunk Fite.
Frances enjoyed reading, watching her TV soaps, and visiting the casino in Atlantic City.
She is survived by 3 children, Sally Dowlin, Elizabethtown, Farmer (Debbie) Griest, Ephrata, Daniel (Sherry) Griest, Peach Bottom, 15 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and her sister Helen Musser, Ephrata.She was predeceased by 2 sons, Frank C. and James E. Griest.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 10:30 AM. with Pastor Kenneth Hash officiating.Interment will be in the Eastland Friends Burying Ground.Viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM. www.reynoldsfuneralhome.net.
