Evelyn Loraine Rineer

Evelyn Loraine Rineer, age 95, of Strasburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Paul Howard Rineer.  Born in Strasburg Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Bertha Kramer Rapp.  Evelyn was a lifelong member of Georgetown United Methodist Church and loved her family, flowers and baseball.  She is survived by her 5 children: Paul C. (Stacy) Rineer of Lititz, James E. (Lori) Rineer of Millersville, Joseph A. (Evelyn) Rineer of Willow Street, Wesley J. (Helen) Rineer of East Petersburg, Diane L. (Eric) Traup of Airville, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a sister Stella R. Rapp.  She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sara J. (Donald) Metzler, and 5 brothers: Louis, Myles "Boot", Vernon "Dale", Wayne and Dane Rapp.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, at 11 a.m. at the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 1070 Georgetown Road, Paradise with a greeting time from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Evelyn's memory to the church.
