Emma S. Carpenter

Emma Sophia Carpenter, 8 week old daughter of James and Jennifer Willwerth Carpenter of  New Holland, passed away at Hershey Medical Center on Friday, January 27, 2023.  She is also survived by siblings Mia Porsche, Ava Porsche, Olivia Porsche, Erik Porsche, Hannah Porsche, Susan Porsche, Sarah (Andre) Smucker, Erica Carpenter, Jessica Carpenter, a niece Abigail Smucker, grandfather James Carpenter Sr, grandparents Doug and Deborah Willwerth and many aunts and uncles. Emma was preceded in death by her brother Noah Alexander and grandmother Caroline Carpenter.

Emma was a tiny but mighty warrior in her short life. Her medical team often laughed at her outgoing personality and said she was a stubborn and sassy little girl, often making her opinion known! She ran into the arms of Jesus while being held by mommy along with daddy and sisters.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 p.m. at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland with a viewing from 6 p.m. until time of service.  Interment will take place on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the adjoining Petra Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Emma's name to Sweet Grace Ministries, 77 Horst Ave, Chambersburg, Pa, 17201.
