Emily L.Reath, 93, of Q.P.R.C., Quarryville, PA, formerly of Kirkwood, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Reath who passed away in 2007.
Emily was a reading specialist with the Solanco School District, retiring in 1983.
She was a graduate of the former Millersville State Teachers College.She was a member of Farm Woman #15, and enjoyed cross stitching and baking.
Emily was a long time member of Bethany Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Nottingham, PA, and in later years attended First Presbyterian Church of Rising Sun, MD.
She was born in Colerain Twp., a daughter of the late Edgar A.and Lillie Lefever Linton.
She is survived by her 2 son's; Gerald,married to Nancy Reath of York, PA, David, married toGina Reath of Lancaster,4 grandchildren; Andrea Olkowski, Shawn Reath, Lauren Myers, Eric Reath, and2 great granddaughters. She was predeceased by 8 siblings; Alma Miller, Anna Herr, Mary Ferguson, Lina Weismandel, Fred Linton, H. Hess Linton, Charles Linton, Earl Linton.
The Funeral Service will be held at Q.P.R.C, Ellingsworth Auditorium, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Stephen Phillips officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service from 9-10:00 AM.
