Ella G. Rutter, age 93, formerly of Paradise went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 29, 2025.  She was the wife of the late Robert D. Rutter, who passed away on November 27, 2022.  They had been married for 69 years.  She was born in Paradise, daughter of the late William P. & Mabel Stewart Rynier.  She was a lifelong member of Calvary Monument Bible Church of Paradise, where in the past she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and helped with bible school.  Ella Graduated from the former Paradise High School class of 1950 and then St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1953.  She retired from Dermatology Physicians.  Surviving are 3 children: Michael S. husband of Susan Kelly Rutter of Alpharetta, GA, Sharon M. wife of Richard "Dick" Hershey of Strasburg, R. Brian husband of Patty Pini Rutter of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren: Stacie, Rachel, Amanda, Ryan, Samantha and Jamie, 6 great grandchildren, sister Kathleen wife of Richard Whitehead of Ronks and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a great-grandson Alexander Benedict MacFeat, 4 siblings: Helen Rynier, Dorothy Eisenberger, Stella Grossman and Esther Eisenberger.

A memorial service will take place from the Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA, on Friday, January 2 at 11 a.m.  There will be a time to greet the family at the church 10 a.m. until time of service.  The interment will be private prior to the service in the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
