Elizabeth S. Esh

Elizabeth S. Esh, age 90 of 243 Summit Hill Road, Quarryville, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the home of her daughter.  She was the wife of the late John Esh, Jr. who passed away on October 27, 2017.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Amos S. & Sylvia Stoltzfus Glick.  Elizabeth was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  Surviving are 5 children; Barbara G., wife of Amos S. Beiler of Christiana, Amos S., husband of Hannah Beiler Esh of Rockville, IN, Omar G., husband of Annie Huyard Esh, John G., husband of Annie Fisher Esh, both of Quarryville, Annie, wife of John Fisher of Montezuma, IN, 43 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 2 siblings; Daniel, husband of Emma Stoltzfus Glick of Lancaster, Sylvia, wife of John Beiler of Christiana, and a step-sister; Lydia, wife of Ben Esh of Lancaster.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sylvia Esh, a stillborn son, 4 great-grandsons, 7 sisters; Rebecca, Barbara, Katie, Naomi, Lydia, a stillborn, Arie, late wife of Jacob Fisher, husband of Lydia King Fisher, 4 brothers; Isaiah, Emanuel, late husband of Sadie King Glick Stoltzfoos, husband of Benuel Stoltzfoos, Moses, Amos, and one step-sister, Lavina.

Funeral service will take place at the late home, 243 Summit Hill Road, Quarryville, on Tuesday, June 25th at 9 a.m. EST.  Interment will be in the Bart Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the time of service.
