Elizabeth I. Martin, 101, of Mennonite Homes, formerly of New Providence, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.She was the wife of the late Ellis J. Martin who passed away in 1983.
Elizabeth was a member of Conestoga United Methodist Church.
She was born in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late William and Sadie Immel Swinehart.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley L. wife of Robert Eckman of New Providence, PA, her son Ronald A., husband of Shirley Martin of Lancaster, PA, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 daughters; Nancy Martin, and Donna Brakefield.She was the last surviving sibling in her family.
The Funeral Service will be held at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. The burial will be in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery.Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM.
