Elizabeth M. Long, 96, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community where she resided for the past 4 years.She was the wife of the late Charles J. Long who died July 30, 1976. Born in Rawlinsville PA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin S. and Rellie Walton Null.
A homemaker, Elizabeth had been employed earlier in her life by the former Hamilton Watch Company.
Elizabeth was a member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, and a former member of Farm Women #21 and the Fulton Grange.
She had been an active volunteer for Robert Fulton Auxiliary and the Solanco Fair Association.
Her hobbies and enjoyments included cooking, sewing, and quilting.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Julie A. (Howard J.) Mundorff, II; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha, Joseph, and Ashley. She was preceded in death by a son James C. Long, a grandson, Jeffrey C. Long, 3 brothers, Russell Null, Walter, Null, Kenneth Null, and a sister Edna Wissler.
